१९३० सायबर हेल्पलाईन, गुन्हे शाखा, मुंबई
सायबर गुन्हेजागृती बरोबरच बृहन्मुंबई शहरातील नागरिकांना सायबर फसवणुकीच्या तक्रारी नोंदवणे सोपे व्हावे तसेच सायबर फसवणुक झालेल्या प्रकरणांमध्ये नागरिकांना तात्काळ प्रतिसाद देऊन फसवणुक झालेली रक्कम गोठण्याकरिता गृहमंत्रालयामार्फत भारतीय सायबर गुन्हे समन्वय केंद्र (I4C) शी संलग्न १९३० सायबर हेल्पलाइन सेवा सुरू करण्यात आली आहे.
The 1930 Cyber Helpline under the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Police Commissioner has been operational from 17th May, 2022. Under the guidance of the Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Police, Special Commissioner of Police, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) and Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Mumbai, the 1930 Cyber Helpline Cell is functioning at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police Cyber Crime, 1st Floor, B.K.C. Police Station.
Currently, citizens have the facility to register complaints about cyber-crimes on this helpline 24×7. A total of 02 Police Sub-Inspectors and 48 Police Constables are working in 03 batches under the control of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), Mumbai for the functioning of the 1930 Helpline.
The main objective of the 1930 Helpline Cell is to immediately freeze the amount of money defrauded of citizens in cyber-crimes in the respective bank accounts.The complaints related to cyber fraud received by the 1930 Cyber Helpline Cell are lodged on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). This facility is used to block the mobile numbers of the perpetrators of the complaints/crimes lodged on the NCRP.
