🚨 **"Cyber Jan Jagran" (Cyber Awareness) Initiative by the Sir J.J. Marg Police Administration** 🚨 Respected Sir, Jai Hind. Today, on February 27, 2026, a "Cyber Jan Jagran" (Cyber Awareness) program was successfully conducted by the Sir J.J. Marg Police Station at Hume High School, Nagpada, Mumbai. As part of this initiative, Sir J.J. Marg Police officers—including Sub-Inspector Kakade, Sub-Inspector Prashant Amundkar, Constable Garad, and Constable Salim Khalek—delivered a presentation covering various topics. These included gaming fraud, cyberbullying, and current cybercrimes—specifically focusing on financial fraud targeting women—while emphasizing the critical need for social and personal safety in the digital realm. Furthermore, a comprehensive PPT presentation was delivered to educate the audience about the different types of cybercrimes, necessary preventive measures, and the utility of helplines such as 1930, 1945, and the "Cyber Mitra" initiative. 🚨 Regarding the Cyber Crime Awareness Program by Sir J.J. Marg Police Station 🚨 Respected Sir, Jai Hind Today, on January 21, 2026, under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Mundhe, Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 01, Mumbai, a cyber crime awareness program was conducted by the Sir J.J. Marg Police Station at the Maharashtra State Women's Council, Asha Sadan, Mumbai. During this program, Sub-Inspectors Omkar Kakade and Prashant Amundkar, Pc Garad cyber crime investigation officers from Sir J.J. Marg Police Station, raised awareness about current cyber crimes, the financial fraud resulting from them, and the necessary measures to prevent such cyber crimes. They also provided information on the precautions to be taken while using social media in daily life. Information about cyber crimes, their types, and necessary preventive measures, including the 1930 and 1945 helplines and Cyber Dost, was also presented through a PPT presentation. The program was attended by District Women and Child Development Officer Mumbai, Ms. Shobha Shelar, J.J.B Board members Adv. Urmila Jadhav and Adv.
