Dr. D. B MARG POLICE STATION

Dr. D. B. Marg police station is formed from the British rule. This police station was known as Lamington Police Station in English Regency. Some older people are still call it as Lamington Road Police Station. In the mean while Dr. Hari Bhadkamkar (Dadasaheb) was born on 08/02/1884, 06.00 am at Kunradvada Shuddha Ekadashi in 1804. Their education was held from 4th to 10th standard in Elphinstone High School, Mumbai. He was got married in 1903, with wife Jaankibai (resident of Miraj). Later, in the year 1904, Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar passed his B.A. in Elphinstone College. Later from the year 1905 to 1909, he was passed the course of Grant Medical College. L. S. And S. Passed by the first rank and then passed MA. Dr. Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar was not a well-known doctor. He was a scholar in Sanskrit. He has acquired a degree in Ayurveda and Neuro Path by mastering in Dhanvantari. After this, Dada has done selfless service to the poor by means of a nursing home at Thomas Studios and other places in front of Tribhuvan Terrace Ampriel Cinema at Lamington Road. After independence, the local people, politicians, thinkers and other dignitaries, taking into consideration the entire ideas of the people, instead of Lamington road and Lamington road police station had changed the name into Dr. Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg and Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg Police Station.
